Information we collect
When you use our booking form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the type of work you are enquiring about and any details you add to your message. We also receive information you choose to give us by phone or email.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, arrange work and keep in touch about that work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running the workshop. We do not use booking enquiries for unrelated marketing.
Who processes your information
The booking form is handled by Web3Forms, which forwards the submission to our email inbox. Web3Forms operates infrastructure in the United States and may retain server logs for a limited period. Our email provider also stores the messages we receive. We do not sell your personal information.
The online MOT and service booking tool is provided by BookMyGarage, operated by The Motorists' Organisation Ltd. Information entered into that tool, including contact and vehicle details, is submitted directly to BookMyGarage and handled under its privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are normally deleted within 24 months. If you become a customer, some information may be kept longer where it forms part of our service, accounting or legal records.
Embedded and external services
The contact page includes an embedded Google Map. Google may receive technical information such as your IP address when the map loads. Its handling of that information is covered by Google's own privacy terms.
The homepage includes an embedded BookMyGarage booking tool. BookMyGarage may receive technical information such as your IP address when the tool loads, in addition to any information you choose to enter.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to or restrict how it is used. These rights can depend on the circumstances. Contact us using the email address above. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
